How accessible is the CommonsVotes app?
Parts of our app are not fully accessible.
We've identified the below issues:
• the front page header causes some screen readers to read HTML code
• some buttons used for navigation do not have text
• some Graphs do not have suitable alt text
• some pages have incomplete header structures
• some buttons do not have associated text
• zoom issues when used on IOS and android

We've prioritised our app updates based on analytics and data. We're working with our content and development teams to update our application.
How we tested this app
Our app was tested externally for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines V2.1 level A and level AA using an accessibility specialist for WCAG 2.0 standards.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 01 May 2021.
Our apps are checked for accessibility on a regular basis. These tests are carried out by Parliament UK through manual and automated testing via a combination of tools for accessibility.
