Code of Conduct for Members of the Lords

Selected letter C

Members of the Lords are required to sign up to the Code of Conduct as part of the introduction on joining the House of Lords and the swearing-in process at the start of a new Parliament.

The Code of Conduct provides guidance to Members of the House of Lords on the standards of conduct expected of them in their parliamentary and public duties. The Code requires Members to register all relevant financial and non-financial interests. The interests are published in the regularly updated Register of Lords Interests.
