UK Parliament is a fantastic place for a family day out in London with the children. Find out how to book family tours and make the most of your visit.
Tour days and times
Tours run:
- Saturdays throughout the year
- during recess/school holidays, tours run from Tuesdays to Saturdays
Tour times:
- 9:00 to 16:15 (last admission is 16:15)
As Parliament is a working building, dates and times can be subject to change so we recommend checking our website for updates to tours.

Alternatively, visit our Ticket Office at the front of Portcullis House on Victoria Embankment.
Getting here
UK Parliament is in Westminster in the centre of London by the River Thames. The nearest underground station is Westminster station. It has step-free access and is approximately a 5-minute walk to the entrance.
Security checks before entry
All visitors, pushchairs and bags go through an airport-style security check before entering the building. Please read the security information carefully.

Disabled visitors pay standard prices on all tours but carers go free with a ticket.
Cloakroom and buggy park
We do not have a cloakroom facility, so we recommend travelling light. Currently there is no place to leave buggies and these will have to remain with you for the duration of your visit.
Toilets and changing facilities
There are toilets and baby changing fascilities available at the start and end of the tour. If you need to use a toilet during your tour, please speak to the tour guide.
On-site facilities
There are a range of on-site facilities on offer such as a café, gift shop and a multi-faith room.
Child-friendly menus
The Jubilee Cafe offers a range of food and drink, including children’s meal deal.
There are also parks close by, for example Victoria Tower Gardens and St James's Park, which are ideal for a picnic.
Photography and mobile phones
Photography and mobile phone use in Parliament is limited to certain areas. If you’re unsure about where you can take photos, please ask our Visitor Assistants for information and help.
