Westminster Hall debates

The House of Commons also sits in an additional room just off Westminster Hall. This gives more time for individual MPs to raise issues of importance to them with a series of Private Members’ adjournment debates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Thursday sitting is frequently used to debate select committee reports and other general business.
