Admission to the count 1919
This printed card allows Nancy Astor's counting agent, Bessie Le Cras, admission to the counting of the votes in Plymouth Guildhall on 28 November 1919. On the reverse is a handwritten note of the results for each of the candidates: Astor 14495, Gay 9292 (William Thomas Gay, the Labour candidate), Foot 4139 (Isaac Foot, the Liberal candidate), and a total of 27926.
