John French's oath

Oath sworn by John French.  Debtors applying for discharge had to compile a schedule of all of their possessions, excluding only apparel, bedding and necessary implements and working tools for their occupation.  Debtors seeking discharge under the 1781 Act, such as French, were also required to swear that they had been imprisoned on and since 1 January 1781, as part of the terms of the Act.
