Case Study: Charles Stanhope and Freedom of Religion
This case study is the result of partnership work between Kent History and Library Centre and the Parliamentary Archives. It formed part of the De Montfort project, which took place in 2015 as part of Parliament's wider 2015 Parliament in the Making programme.
The project explored the impact of MPs and Peers on both their local community and Parliament. Participants spent time conducting both independent and group-based archival research at both Kent History and Library Centre and the Parliamentary Archives. The project enabled participants to gain experience in and build confidence of working with archive records.
