Irish Church Temporalities Act: reduced Church's organisation in Ireland, and led to concern about parliamentary involvement in Church affairs

1848
Religious Disabilities Act removed last restrictions against dissenters and Catholics and extended same rights to Jews

1869
Irish Church Disestablishment Act ended Church's position as the official church in Ireland

1888
Oaths Act:  allowed individuals to take an oath by affirmation rather than as a solemn appeal to God

1914
Welsh Church Act ended Anglican Church's position as the official church in Wales

1919
Church of England Assembly (Powers) Act allowed the Church greater self-government

1921
Church of Scotland Act: confirmed the Church of Scotland as Scotland's official church, independent of state control

2006
Racial and Religious Hatred Act created new offence of inciting hatred against a person on grounds of their religion 

2008
Abolition of the crime of blasphemy
