Pacific Star

Instituted in May 1945, the Pacific Star was awarded to British and Commonwealth forces who served in the Pacific Campaign from 1941-1945 during the Second World War.

The Pacific Campaign was fought across the Pacific Ocean and Asia from 7 December 1941 – 2 September 1945. In the United Kingdom, VJ Day is marked on 15th August, while in America the event is commemorated on 2nd September.
