Case Study: Tufton Beamish and Wildlife Conservation
This case study was the result of partnership work between The Keep in East Sussex and the Parliamentary Archives. It formed part of the De Montfort project, which took place in 2015 as part of Parliament's wider 2015 Parliament in the Making programme.
The project explored the impact of MPs and Peers on both their local communities and at Parliament. For this case study a college group spent time visiting The Keep and the Parliamentary Archives to consult original archive materials. This enabled participants to gain experience in and build confidence of working with archive records.
