Here are some tips in case you would like to begin investigating this subject matter on your own.

Collections of personal papers by Parliamentarians are held in archives across the country. A great place to start is with the records of the local authority in your area.  These will be held by regional archive services.  Details should be on the website of your local council. The papers of Tufton Beamish are held at The Keep in Falmer, East Sussex.

The Parliamentary Archives holds a number of acts relating to wildlife conservation. You can find these by searching Portcullis, the Parliamentary Archives catalogue. Speeches by Tufton Beamish in both the House of Commons and House of Lords can be found on Historic Hansard. TheOxford Dictionary of National Biography includes a biography of Beamish.
