First 100 Years toilet roll

This commemorative toilet roll from the First 100 Years Project celebrates 100 years of women in the legal profession following the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919. It was inspired by the common excuse from law firms that they could not employ women because of a lack of toilet facilities. It was produced as part of a limited edition of 100 rolls by the First 100 Years project in 2016.

'Sitting comfortably? Thanks to the courage and tenacity of pioneering women in law, now we all can.
