Robert Perrey

Robert Perrey is listed in the Book of Reference as occupying an orchard, which he rented from the Trustees of the Independent Chapel.

We found Perrey in the 1841 Census, where is he is described as a surgeon aged 35, living at Bridge. In 1851, the records show that he was born in Exeter, Devonshire. His occupation gives the additional detail that he was a General Practitioner MA MC Glasgow also LAC London.

By 1861, his address is given as Bridge House. We found his gravestone in the graveyard of Marden Church, where the inscription reads that he was surgeon of the parish for upwards of 40 years.
